Tom Ellis - Design Director
Guitarist. Motorcyclist. Liable to go down rabbit holes.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the world’s best organisations. I’ve met amazing people and learned so much along the way. Clients include: Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Google, British Airways, Nissan, Vodafone, World Economic Forum & many many more.
Craft-led, user-centric design is what gets me enthusiastic and the ever-evolving world of digital and product is what keeps me curious. I’m naturally inquisitive and have spent many years on the tools, under-the-hood and amongst teams of all shapes and sizes. I’m versed in Agile processes and teams, with user-facing research guiding many of the projects I’ve been a part of.
For the past eight years I’ve also been part of the leadership of design teams, serving as a mentor and manager, ambassador for design and the design contact for key stakeholders.
Outside of work I’m a keen motorcyclist, riding and working on American and British bikes. I love photography and carry my trusty Fujifilm most places. Also very passionate about the history of design and forever growing my book collection.
Charlotte Estall - Studio Manager
Usually found on the back of a motorbike.
I spent the early part of my career working in Retail Buying, where I gained an obsession with design, numbers and detail. I worked for some notable High Street brands including River Island, The Disney Store and Seasalt. My most recent role was working for an Interior Design company and learning about a whole new world of design details.
I relish the opportunity to learn new things and throw myself into every task, big or small. In this role, I wear many hats - finance, marketing, project management and web design to name a few.
I am obsessed with Mid Century Design and Architecture. One of my dreams is to travel to LA to visit all the iconic buildings. I love cats, coffee, pizza, the US Office, antique shops and snooker. Cornwall is my second home and being by the sea is my happy place.
